It is famous for Speakers' Corner, where people can make public speeches on any topic, Rotten Row, a riding track for horses, and the Serpentine lake. In 1851 the Great Exhibition was held in Hyde Park, and it is now a centre for large public meetings and concerts. At the south-east corner of the park is Hyde Park Corner, a place where several busy streets meet.
