15. Until the cow comes home: Rất muộn

Ví dụ: 

• I regret what I have done in the past, hung out all day with bad guys, stole money to play game and went home until the cow comes home. That makes my parents worried a lot.

16. The apple of one’s eyes: Người được cưng chiều, yêu mến

Ví dụ:

•  My 2-year old little brother is the apple of parent’s eyes, he’s take after my father a lot.

Ví dụ:

• Folks rumoured that men make houses, women make homes. So, in Viet Nam, men often work outside to earn money, while women takes care for home.
