This is a simple game to practice reading comprehension briefly. To play, you read the brief description and then click on the image that it most accurately describes. The aim is to practice understanding short English sentences in a fun way. By having players match a description to an image, I hope that meaning or context can be suggested more effectively.

As you play, you can choose which content to use from about 20 different sets. Each set has between 20 and 30 items, and each item has two different (but pretty similar) descriptions. The first description is quite simple, while the second description is more difficult. Easier descriptions show up first and then as you progress the harder ones show up. To finish the game, you have to go through the entire content twice. To try and make the game more interesting, scores are accumulated and a high scoreboard is displayed at the end. Most of the other games on this site use a timer to challenge the game. Instead of doing this again, this game only has points and a bar that accumulates and awards more points. The bar accumulates when you get the answer right, but then resets whenever you make a mistake. If you can get six correct answers in a row, stars will be displayed and additional scores will be given.

To add another element to the game, I have included 3 lifelines or hints to help get the correct answer. They appear on the right side of the screen, and while initially greyed out, become available as you accumulate points. The first help is ‘50/50’. Clicking here removes half of the options, leaving only the correct answer and 3 alternatives. Second of all, change the displayed image and rearrange the screen. At first, 8 images are displayed. One is the correct answer and the other 7 are randomly selected from other images in the content set. The second help, reshuffling and reselecting 7 alternatives. The ultimate help is simply showing the correct response. Since this one is quite useful, it can only be used a few times. When you start, you have no help and the option buttons are all greyed out. Then, when you give the correct answers, you will accumulate points and receive a reward as a help. However, a wrong answer will reset everything and remove all help you have.

There are several game modes that you can play. Normal mode will show 8 possible images per description, while easy mode will show only 4 images. There is also a simple mode in which the score register and the helpers are removed.
